Happy New Year, AWIS DC!

The Nominations and Elections Committee of the Washington DC Metropolitan Chapter of the Association for Women in Science is pleased to announce the election results for the 2016 chapter officers.

Past-president: Kristina Krasnov Miller (elected in 2014)
Vice President for Programs: Deborah Bouvier

Vice President for Membership: Jennifer Blum

The amendment to the chapter bylaws also passed.

Thank you to the 2015 chapter officers for all their hard work and dedication to the chapter and we look forward to the new year!

Practice what you’ve learned this fall in our networking exercise, and  continue the conversation over drinks and snacks on the (covered and heated!) deck at Local 16 on U Street.
